I paint things that create a feeling or a memory within me.  A moment in place or time.  I enjoy painting a variety of things as I would tire of painting the same kind of thing over and over.  I am always catching myself looking at something or someone and thinking: "that would make a great painting".  Unfortunately, they don't always materialize in to a great painting, but you learn from your success and your failures.  It does however make you a keen observer; and that's exciting.  You never know what you'll come across in your day to day travels.
